Thankful to be CHURCH Together:
Thanksgiving Food Basket Distribution - Nov 22, Sat 11 am
This Thanksgiving, we’re grateful for the chance to be CHURCH together—neighbors serving neighbors with open hands and hopeful hearts. On Saturday, November 22 at 11:00 a.m. in our Fellowship Hall, the Western Service Workers Association (WSWA) will partner with our congregation to host a community Thanksgiving Food Basket Distribution. What happens in that room is more than logistics; it’s worship made visible—hospitality, justice, and love taking shape in bags of fresh produce and pantry staples so families can gather around their own tables with dignity and joy.
You can take part by arriving a little early to help set up, greet guests, carry baskets, and offer a warm smile. If you’re unable to serve in person, consider bringing shelf-stable foods or making a gift marked “Thanksgiving Baskets,” knowing that every contribution becomes a tangible expression of care. And whether you help pack, donate, or encourage, please keep our guests, volunteers, and partners in prayer.
Together with WSWA, we are reminding our city that no one is forgotten and gratitude grows when it’s shared. Thank you for embodying the good news in practical ways and for showing what it means to be a community shaped by compassion. See you Saturday, Nov 22 at 11:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall—thankful to be CHURCH together.
